Can You Make Money On Fanduel – How To Win All Year Round

I get this question all the time. Can you really make money on Fanduel? Well duh, that entire platform is geared towards making money and money is being made all day every day. Either you’re in the green or not.

There is a few key thing I want to touch on though. Just saying you can make money on Fanduel inst good enough. Let me elaborate on that statement.

Can You Make Money On Fanduel – Yes But

You can obviously make a ton of money on Fanduel. But at the same time, you can also lose a ton if you aren’t managing your money properly. I’ll speak on that and a few other things that can ensure that you are making money on Fanduel more than you are losing.

How To Manage Your Money Properly On Fanduel

I tell people this all the time. Never put your last dime into an entry/contest on Fanduel. This is a fast way to go broke, Lose Your Home, Wife/Girlfriend, Job, Car etc. You need money to comfortably have each of these things I just mentioned. None of them will take I lost all my money on Fanduel as an excuse. So to avoid having to face that reality. You can practice good spending habits on Fanduel.

How To Manage Your Money Properly On Fanduel

I never put in more than 10% -30% Of my money into a contest/contests. This will ensure me that I can live to play another day and if my lines don’t cash. I still have some money to fall back on. But if I win ill add to the collection and rinse wash and repeat. It is a definite and evergreen way to stay in the money on a DFS platform like FD.

I’ll use the lower percentage if I don’t have a good feeling about the contest for whatever reason. For contests, I have high expectations for and can sense that it’s going to be a good day. I’ll go up to 30%. Ill’ often hover somewhere in between those two numbers. But I never go lower than 10 or higher than 30 percent. That’s the rule of thumb for me and I’ve been in the money on Fanduel for many years.

Know Your Sport – Don’t Jump In Water You Can’t Swim In

Know Your Sport

Know Your Sport

If you are an NBA fan and know it inside out. Then it would be better for you if you stuck with that sport and spend most of your money there.

If you aren’t that familiar with NFL or MLB. Why waste your money? Look at it this way. If you were in a room and given the option to choose between two doors A and B. You know door A has money somewhere in the room behind it already. Would you take door B with the possibility of there being money behind it or would you take the door you knew has money behind it?

Same scenario on Fanduel. Stick with what you know and leave the other sports for those who know them.

Now don’t me wrong I’m not saying don’t get your feet wet and adventure playing other sports on Fanduel. What I’m saying is that if you are losing 10+ contests before you win 1 you may want to invest in another sport or one you are more familiar with.

You Will Not Win Them All – Know This Understand This

You Will Not Win Them All

You Will Not Win Them All

You will not win every single contest you enter on Fanduel. No matter how good it looks on paper how contrarian you were with your picks or how much research you’ve done. Sometimes you just can’t avoid the Grim Reapers Of DFS.

It happens to everyone who plays DFS on both Fanduel and Draftkings. Don’t let it discourage you.

Play For Fun – Don’t Turn It Into A Do Or Die Situation

Always keep your DFS experience fun and something you do to make extra income without having to slave in a Building/Plant/Store etc. for another person.

Keep It Fun

Keep It Fun

When I say keep it fun that’s exactly what I mean. You can keep it fun by not going all out in contests. That goes back to managing your money properly. If you just deposited $600 dollars and lost it all in a day. DFS is no longer fun for you. You now are frantically trying to figure out how you are going to make that money back.

Most of the time this will result in you depositing more money into your Fanduel account to try and win your money back or finding other ways to get that $600 back. Depending on what those ways are it might result in you being in handcuffs rather sooner than later or spending your next check on things you could’ve paid for with that $600 you just lost on Fanduel.

Remember the 10%-30% rule will help you avoid this.

Conclusion

Now I feel that this is a better explanation than just saying “Yes You Can Make Money On Fanduel“. There is plenty to be made on there so go and get it.

Feel free to comment and share this article with someone who you benefit from it. Thank you for stopping by having a nice day and I hope you win the million dollar cash prize after i do lol. See you on Fanduel.

I can tell you have been doing this for a while. I think you really know how this works and how you can preserve your investments into Fanduel. I like how you talk about only putting 10-30% into a game so that you aren’t risking everything on 1 game. I have been itching to get into this game for a while now and this only makes me want to get into it again.

Very good read and very informative. I’ve heard a lot of people talking about fanduel and I haven’t had the chance to check it out but I am going to now. Making small investments is always a better idea than spending large sum of money in one go, it has a much smaller risk factor which is great

I can tell you know what you’re talking about, you say you’ve been in the money for yearss and that make sense based on the strategy you implement. You’re willing to spend money but not too much.

It sounds like an interesting opportunitty and I’m a big sports fan so it sounds good to me.

The only problem is that I’m still not fully sure what Fanduel is so maybe you can go a little more in depth in terms of that.

    Good article. Keep it up!

My favorite competition to do on fanduel is the $1 entry for fantasy football where you pick a lineup with a budget. I’m not the biggest sports better but it’s a great way to test the waters for beginners if it’s something they want to find out they’ll be into or not.
