Fanduel Satellites & Qualifiers – How It Works

In this post, I will explain to you what Fanduel satellites & qualifiers are. How to get to them and what you can expect to win from them. This post is going to be very helpful to beginners and experienced players. This game mode is often overlooked or just not played. I think it’s because no-one really knows how to find the game mode itself and then there is the reason of not fully understanding how it works. I will hopefully break the ice with this post. Let’s get to it.

Fanduel Satellites & Qualifiers How It Works

You will win tickets that you can use to enter cash games. It comes in handy especially when you don’t have a lot of cash to play around with. Qualifiers are games that you must win and qualify for in order to continue playing. You win huge cash in these contest.

How To Get Satellites & Qualifiers On Fanduel

You get to it almost the same as you would on Draftkings. You will need to click the sport you wish to play. Once you do you will see a box appear on the left side of your screen. It will look like this.

Once it starts showing the prizes are tickets you are in the right place. You will then need to select the game of your choice.

These tickets will give you access to a lot of contest. Here are a few examples of such. You will see different varieties for each sport across the website.

You can very big cash prizes from these tickets. Be sure to be as contrarian with your picks as possible. Because these contest only rewards the player or top 2 or 3. Which means in order to win you must be very different from the rest of the players. Some contest has larger winning pools than others. But most of them are small.

Be sure to look out for the orange and blue dots beside the contest title. This will indicate two things.

  • Orange meaning you and other players can enter that particular game mode multiple times.
  • The blue dot means. That the game is guaranteed to play. These games will play no matter if the fill or not.

This is great. It lets you know what you are signing up for.

When Will You Be Able To Use Your Tickets

It will tell you in the contest title when the contest will start and when you can use the ticket/tickets. It will look like this.

When the contest will start

When the contest will start

This is when you will be able to use your ticket. The (3 tickets) tab only means. That is how many tickets that are being rewarded in this contest to the winners.

Conclusion

These are the basics for satellites & qualifiers on Fanduel. No matter which sport you chose to play on the site this contest is available for it. You don’t have the option to create satellites & qualifiers contest. The thing is to help you enter games you probably wouldn’t with your own cash. It also provides an opportunity to win serious cash of course. This game mode is for all player levels. Don’t be scared get in there and see how you do. I say give it at least 10 solid tries. If you win more than you lose keep it. But if you win 1 out of 10 then it may not be for you. If you have the bankroll and can afford those losses. Then more power to you. Do what you choose.

I like this game mode. But nothing beat 50/50’s. It is simply the best and easiest game mode to consistently win in. It also helps build bankroll so you can have the cash ready for big multiple entry tournaments etc. Or you can build them up and withdraw to pay a few bills like I do.

That’s all I have for this post. If you have any questions or just want to speak on this post in general. Feel free to leave your comment in the box below. I will get back to you as soon as I can. Thank you for coming by and visiting my website.

Great explanation of fanduel satellites. I’ve been a little hesitant to enter a competition on fanduel because I didn’t really know what was going on. Thank you for this explanation, I am excited to enter into some of these tournaments! Hopefully I make it through the qualifier and win big!

Great post. I love the layout and how you go into detail about the topic. Does this contest play well with NFL? If so I will like to give it a go. I like the set up and how it pays out.

What do you suggest I do. I’m a NFL fan to the core

Yes it does work great with NFL and any other sport on the site. I suggest you go with your gut. If your gut doesn’t give you a good feeling. Then go off your bank account. It will be honest with you each and every time. On what you should do.

I am kinda contemplating if I should join FanDuel this year. It seems like only the hardcore players win money. I might try some Satellites after this to win some small cash nothing major. I will probably play Fantasy Football and maybe some basketball. Do you know what the odds are of winning small prizes? Nice post, I had no idea there were different competitions within the site

The odds vary depending on the size and entry fee of the contest. Go small deposit like $10 or $15 dollars and play $1 games to get the hang of things

Very good post! I am new to Fanduel and Draftkings, but I really had no clue as to what some of the things, such as satellites and the ticket modes, or 50/50 were for that matter. With your post now I can go into each of these sites with a lot more confidence.
I like how you broke each of them down with simple explanations of each category.

Hey man I love this post!!! Thank you so much for this. I have been curious about Fanduel and ways to make money off of sports but I never actually tried it. I am a huge football fan and the NFL season is right around the corner so great timing!

I think this is very useful for many people. Of course I thank you for your suggestion to be wise with your betting. I also think if you are wise you can play around with the system and see if you can make some regular money on things you are knowledgeable about and love. So why not have a little fun.

Fun these days can be a great stress reliever. Even if you lose. Thanks for the post.

Do you think that more or less people are betting on sports to make income these days? Or are the more doing for fun?

I think that if they have a fantasy sports account. They are first sports fans, two they know enough or feel they know enough to join the site, Thri have no doubt in my mind that they did t to make income. Over the vast majority does anyway
